What is Little Wriggle Room?
Little Wriggle Room offers parent-assisted toddler movement classes in Newcastle for confident walkers to 4-year-olds. Through play-based movement, children build confidence, coordination and a lifelong love of movement.

Whether your little one is taking their first confident steps or racing through an obstacle course, every activity is designed to support their development while making movement fun.

Little Wrigglers is designed for confident walkers up to approximately 2.5 years.
Big Wrigglers is designed for children aged approximately 2.5–4 years.
These age ranges are a guide only. Children develop at different rates, so you’re welcome to choose the class that feels most suitable for your child’s confidence and abilities. If you’re unsure, please get in touch.
-
Yes. A designated play area will be available for pre-walking siblings. Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising every child in their care.
Twins or siblings may participate in the same class, provided you feel confident you can safely supervise and support them both. Each participating child requires their own booking at the standard rate.
You’re welcome to bring another adult if you’d prefer each child to have one-on-one support.
-
Yes. Little Wriggle Room is a parent-assisted program, so each child needs one actively supervising adult in the activity area. You’ll help your child move through the stations, offer support when needed and encourage them to explore at their own pace.
Additional family members are welcome to watch from the designated seating area, subject to space, but must remain outside the activity area while the class is running.
-
That’s completely okay. Every child warms up and participates at their own pace, with no pressure to complete every activity.
Your child is welcome to watch, stay close to you, take a break or explore whichever parts of the class feel comfortable. They can join in again whenever they’re ready.
-
Bring a water bottle and anything you may need for your baby or toddler. All activity equipment is provided.
Children should wear comfortable clothing that allows plenty of movement and participate in bare feet or grippy socks. Regular socks can be slippery and aren’t suitable for the activity area.
Parents and carers should also wear comfortable clothing suitable for moving around and supporting their child.
-
If you have a term booking, make-up classes aren’t available during the pilot program. However, you may transfer one class per term to a nominated friend. Please contact us in advance so we can update the class list.
For casual bookings, cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a credit toward another available casual class. If there are no suitable classes available during the pilot, a refund may be offered. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice aren’t eligible for a credit or refund.
Meet Robyn
Hi, I'm Robyn.
Before becoming a graphic designer and mum of two, I spent six years as an accredited gymnastics coach, helping young children build confidence through movement and play.
Little Wriggle Room brings together that coaching experience with everything I've learnt as a parent.
I know what it's's like to have a toddler bouncing off the walls, searching for somewhere they can climb, explore and burn energy in a safe, welcoming environment.
That's why I created Little Wriggle Room. A place where little bodies can move, explore and build confidence through play.
